FANDOM PLATFORM × DATA TECHNOLOGY

A fandom platform.
Data for
global collaboration.

DataTown builds FanWork, connecting global fandom communities and their activities. We connect interests, experience and Collab records with local networks to create business collaborations—and turn experiences and responses into data for what comes next.

01 / THE FANDOM ECONOMY

Fans do more than consume.
They create, organize and connect.

Fanbase leaders bring people together. Creators make art, dance, video and reviews. FanWork supports this work—and connects it with business opportunities.

Paid Collabs let fan organizers run classes, events and experiences with tickets. FanWork takes the payment and handles refunds, and if the minimum number of people is not reached, everyone is refunded in full. Activity details, terms, payment and progress records sit in one place.

  • Event tickets

  • Full refund if it's off

Payment and operating arrangements vary by Collab type and terms.

03 / FANDOM DATA

Not just who follows.
Who can make things happen?

Public-channel research, local knowledge and FanWork activity records bring different kinds of evidence together. We use them to plan where, with whom and how to collaborate.

01 / RESEARCH

Discover the fandom

Research public fanbase, creator and media channels by artist, language, city and activity format.

SOURCE / Public channels
02 / LOCAL CONTEXT

Add local context

Country Managers collect contact and venue information, then check the scope of a potential collaboration.

SOURCE / CM research and conversations
03 / ACTIVITY RECORDS

Connect real experience

Profiles, fanbases and Collabs connect people, activity conditions, participation and creative outcomes.

SOURCE / FanWork product records

The value is in the connected context,
not just the size of a database.

Channel lists show where to start. Local relationships and activity records add how collaboration happened. That context informs the next campaign—and our future AI assistant.

04 / TECHNOLOGY ROADMAP

From an idea for an activity
to a Collab people can join.

We currently operate preset and block-based Collab creation. Our next step is an AI assistant that helps compose activity information, operating records and payment blocks using Collab data and user behavior.

  1. OPERATING NOW

    Presets and blocks

Choose an activity format and compose the information needed to open and run a Collab.

  2. PLANNED R&D

    AI-assisted composition

Use activity records to suggest suitable drafts, participation and transaction blocks.

  3. HUMAN REVIEW

    Review before publishing

The organizer reviews the draft, activity terms and payment conditions before publishing.

WHAT WE PLAN TO VALIDATE

Help more people turn their experience into paid activities and products—not just generate more text.

  • Time needed to complete a usable draft
  • Missing required operating information
  • Organizer edits and repeated support

05 / GLOBAL CITY NETWORK

Local connections.
A clear scope in each city.

Experience in Madrid and Paris informs our approach. Across cities with local contacts, we identify suitable fan organizers and venues, then propose a scope matched to the project.

COMPANY-PROVIDED STATUS / CM RESEARCH
Approx. 4,000research entries collected

Country Managers collect information on fanbases, creators and local spaces, and develop relationships through outreach. This is not a count of unique, fully verified or contracted partners; scope is checked for each project.

Local contacts do not mean every service is immediately available.

A NEW MARKET? LET'S CHECK THE GROUND FIRST.

Start with local partners
in a new market.

For markets outside the listed network, including Vietnam, we first assess local partners, suitable venues and operating conditions. A pilot scope is proposed after that review.

06 / OUR CONTENT CHANNELS

Our own channels.
Real connections with global audiences.

From FanWork and Unlock Korea to regional channels run by Country Managers. Content and local conversations help us connect with fandom communities.

The platform preserves activities and experience. Our content channels help us meet the next fans, creators and collaborators.

07 / REFERENCE

Proven through real projects.

Different formats. Real communities at the center.

FROM EXECUTION TO LEARNING

Different projects leave different evidence: participation, submitted work, visits and interviews. We keep those measures distinct and use them to inform the next collaboration.

Detailed scope and supporting records are available in a consultation.

09 / ABOUT DATATOWN

Fans are more
than an audience.
They are partners.

Fans organize events, create content and bring local communities together. We recognize the work behind that influence—and connect it with opportunities for artists, brands and places.

Our team brings together global community operations, marketing planning and in-house development. We connect on-the-ground work with platforms that preserve its value.
